Biography of Cathleen Christy
Cathleen (Cathy) Christy joined Lamia & Associates as a manager in 2024. She is a 1988 graduate of Westminster College with a B.S. in Accounting. Cathy has over 35 years of experience.
A certified public accountant, Cathy has expertise in retirement plans and small business. In addition, she performs compilation and review services and prepares individual and corporate tax returns.
A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), Cathy continues to improve her education both academically and professionally. She has completed and passed the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist program (CEBS) through the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania. Cathy also completes a minimum of 40 hours of continuing professional education per year.
Cathy, her husband and son live in Saxonburg, PA. They also have a dog and stay busy with all of their son’s sports activities.
